Perfectly Pear White Tea

Delicate white tea with a "perfect" hint of pear and vanilla flavors.

"Harvested in early springtime in the mountains of eastern China, the leaves of our Bai Mu Dan white tea are gently air-dried to retain their subtle sweetness and delicate, just-picked flavor. White tea's natural sweetness is enhanced with the flavor of juicy pears and a touch of vanilla in this "perfect" blend."

Brewing Instructions

For smooth white tea with a mild, delicate flavor, always start with water that is very hot but not boiling.

Hot Tea by the Cup

Pour freshly heated water over one tea bag. Steep 2 minutes and remove tea bag. Sweeten if desired.

Iced Tea by the Pitcher

Pour 2 cups freshly heated water over four tea bags in a heat-resistant container. Steep 2 minutes and remove tea bags. If desired, add sweetener while tea is hot. Add 2 cups cold water and chill.

Fun Facts

The Chinese word li means both “pear” and “separation” – which explains the Asian superstition that dividing a pear between friends or lovers invites unwanted separation.
