African and Rooibos Teas

The continent of Africa is home to many plants that grow nowhere else on earth, and that are delicious when crafted into herbal teas. Rooibos (“red bush” in Afrikaans) and heuningbos (“honeybush” in Afrikaans) are two such plants native only to South Africa. Rooibos grows naturally in the dry, sandy soils of the Cederberg Mountains, and honeybush in the Langkloof region. Our botanical buyers work with the local farmers and other organizations to ensure that we purchase only sustainably cultivated plants.

Celestial Seasonings offers a line of naturally caffeine free Rooibos and African teas.

The natives of South Africa have been enjoying rooibos and honeybush teas for centuries, and Celestial Seasonings is pleased to offer a line of naturally caffeine free African teas featuring fruit flavors and spices.
