Here at Celestial Seasonings, we pride ourselves on not only creating tasty teas, but helping to preserve the environment one cup at a time. That’s why we are excited to share our continuing efforts towards recycling and use of recycled materials – both in our tea boxes and at our factory.

Celestial Seasonings tea boxes are made of 100% recycled materials, including at least 35% post-consumer waste. They’re also 100% recyclable when you’ve enjoyed all the goodness inside. That’s sure to put a smile on your face – like our whimsical artwork. We hope you will begin to remember us for our beautiful designs, flavorful combinations, and our commitment to preserving our planet.

We’re also working to make our production facility as earth friendly as our packaging. We recycle more than 700,000 pounds of material every year, including paperboard, shrink-wrap, scrap metal, pallets and other materials. In fact, we've reduced the amount of waste we send to landfills by more than 60 percent in just the past few years! We’re determined to stay green on every level, from our materials to our offices.

If you want to recycle in your own unique way, we suggest transforming our boxes into personalized creations. You can make anything from a paperclip holder to a planter box and even a cardboard purse from our beautiful boxes. The sky’s the limit.
