Created By Breast Cancer Survivors
Celestial Seasonings has a rich history of creating enticing, thought–provoking tea boxes filled with beautiful artwork and inspiring words. We have always ensured that the thoughts and images on the outside of the box are a reflection of the healthy goodness inside.
For our new selection of healthy green teas in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to create truly special tea boxes that would captivate and inspire. So we decided to feature purpose–driven box art created by women who have survived breast cancer and wanted to share their stories of perseverance. With the help of our friends at the Rocky Mountain Cancer Center in our home state of Colorado, we appealed to the amazing community of local breast cancer survivors to find artists whose personal journeys would inspire visual representations of hope and strength.
We received more than two dozen remarkable submissions from a diverse array of gifted artist–survivors, but two women stood out for their unique artistic perspectives and their ability to narrate their stories of perseverance through colorful, hopeful works of art. Celestial Seasonings is proud to introduce these two artists: Dagmar Fehlau and Heidi Kummli.
Pears have been enjoyed since antiquity, and writings about them appear in both ancient Greek and Roman works.
